Greetings friends,

I am writing to let you know of a special help and support group—called GriefShare—for people experiencing grief and loss.

What: GriefShare
When: Thursday evenings, March 10 – June 2
Time: 7:00 – 8:30 PM
Where: Room 205/206 in the Education Building of the Dexter United Methodist Church (7643 Huron River Drive in Dexter, MI)

GriefShare is a weekly video seminar featuring some of the nation’s foremost experts on grief recovery topics. Each seminar is combined with a small group discussion time to allow you to talk about the content and about how you are dealing with the death of a loved one.

Here is a sampling of some of the topics that will be covered:
 Why the journey of grief is harder than you imagined
 How long the journey of grief typically lasts
 How to deal with friends or family who don’t understand your grief
 What God has to say to you about your “why” questions
 How to handle grief-related anger
 How to prevent getting stuck in grief
 How to move forward

Whether your loss was recent or a long time ago, this series will help you recover from your loss and rebuild your life. There is a nominal registration fee of $20 to cover materials, which includes a workbook.
