About this Ministry
First Baptist Church at 401 Gateway Avenue offers the full GriefShare series once a year, beginning in March and ending in May. In addition, we offer Surviving the Holidays once a year, usually the second Saturday in November.
The GriefShare Experience
Navigating Loss and Grief
Find relief and comfort at a GriefShare support group. Each week you’ll watch a 30-minute video with insights from grief recovery experts and people who share their personal stories. You’ll then spend time sharing with people who get what you’re going through (there’s no pressure to talk!) and take home a guide with helpful exercises for personal healing. Groups meet for 13 weeks.
