About this Ministry
James River Baptist Church hosts GriefShare on Wednesday nights. Lead facilitator is Sharon. Sharon has had a 12 yo son pass away from a childhood cancer. Five months prior, both parents passed away within 10 days of one another related to a car accident. Yet, they were both 80 yo. Sharon looks to ‘walk alongside; giving you someone to ‘sit with.’
The GriefShare Experience
Navigating Loss and Grief
Find relief and comfort at a GriefShare support group. Each week you’ll watch a 30-minute video with insights from grief recovery experts and people who share their personal stories. You’ll then spend time sharing with people who get what you’re going through (there’s no pressure to talk!) and take home a guide with helpful exercises for personal healing. Groups meet for 13 weeks.
